During these meetings, members bring along interesting models and exchange ideas and information of what is happening in the modelling world - new releases, competitions, useful techniques etc. Occasionally there are guest speakers, demonstrations, and video/slide presentations. The club caters for all types of modellers - Aircraft, Military, Car, Diorama, Ship, Truck, Figure, Fantasy, Sci-Fi and every other kind of modeller! There is a small annual membership fee to cover running costs and includes entry into Club competitions. The Club is open to all members of the community. MeetingsEach month WSMC holds a Social Meeting. These meetings are very informal and visitors and new members are always welcome. Each Social Meeting carries a theme and people are encouraged to bring along a model that perhaps distantly is related to the theme. The more obscure and tenuous the link to the theme, the better! There is a raffle held each month with the prize being the winning member's choice of a kit from the specially purchased and carefully selected prize pool. Wadham house can be found behind the Mt Waverley Library opposite the Mt Waverley train station. There is ample parking at the centre and in the street immediately outside.
