There is quite an extensive collection of over 25 civil and military airframes on display including: Bristol Freighter, de Havilland Gipsy Moth, de Havilland Heron, Douglas DC3, Douglas DC-2, Percival Proctor, Vickers Viscount, Avro Lincoln (in pieces), Bristol Sycamore, Consolidated PBY Catalina (fuselage), de Havilland Sea Venom, Fairey Firefly, Fairey Gannet, Gloster Meteor, Link Trainer, Westland Wessex, CAC Wirraway, CAC Boomerang (fuselage), CAC Ceres, CAC Avon Sabre, DAP Beaufort (in pieces), DAP Beaufighter, de Havilland Tiger Moth, de Havilland Vampire, Dunstable Kestral, GAF Canberra (cockpit), GAF (Dassault) Mirage, Heron Primary Glider, Skyseeker Ultralight, Victa Airtourer and Benson AutoGyro. Several other airframes are off-site for restoration, including a P-40 Kittyhawk.
The museum is run by the Australian Aircraft Restoration Group (AARG). There are numerous displays showing the history of aviation in Australia, aero engines, a cutaway Rolls Royce Merlin, armaments and all sorts of aircraft parts.
