Museum of Australian Army Flying

Oakey is about 100 km inland from Brisbane, just north-west of Toowoomba. There is an Army air base there and the museum is on that site.

Aircraft on display include: Bristol Boxkite, Auster AOP9, Focker Triplane replica, Bristol Fighter replica, Beaufort fuselage, CAC Boomerang, Bell 47 Souix, Bell Kiowa and Pilatus Turbo Porter. There are also numerous aero engines and artefacts on display.

The museum covers all aspects of Australian Army flying including the early days of the RFC and WWI.
