The Sammlung LKW + BUS Museum in Einbeck, Germany, is a treasure trove for enthusiasts of commercial vehicles, particularly trucks and buses. LKW is the German equivalent of HGV, Heavy Goods Vehicle. Established by Hans-Günther Esser, the museum showcases an impressive collection that spans over 80 years of automotive history. Visitors can explore more than 200 vehicles, featuring an array of brands such as Mercedes-Benz, MAN, and Volvo. The exhibits include classic trucks, innovative buses, and rare prototypes, each telling a unique story about the evolution of road transport. The museum emphasises the historical significance of commercial vehicles in shaping transportation and logistics. Informative panels and displays provide insights into the development of vehicle technology and design over the decades. Nearly all the collection is in fully-restored running condition.
