Bell 47 ES-709 Walkaround Photos
I took this Bell 47 ES-709 walkaround while I was in Greece in mid 2008. It was parked out the front of the Greek War Museum in Athens. There was this Bell 47, a Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter, a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, a DogSabre, a Harvard and a Thunderjet. They are all in remarkably good order considering they are kept outside and in unrestricted public access. Inside the museum is a fantastic collection of swords, ancient and recent, and a collection of body armour. There is a collection of artillery on display outside as well. Overall well worth a visit if you are in Athens.
