I don't know about you, but I find the perfect scale models in the magazines a little intimidating, if you feel the same way, you might find my stuff a breath of fresh air, 'cos, baby, I can't build like that!
I thought I'd try my hand at a civil vehicle and I liked the heavy look of this one. It's the Italeri kit #3808, which is the Mercedes 2238 prime mover kit with the generic wrecker body added. I'll be attempting a gloss finish with an airbrush and I'll also be creating my own decals for this one. Let's see how it goes!
This is the first build-up on the site. It covers using the old Panda 1:35 UH-1N and turning it into a civilian 212 as used by the NSCA (Victorian Division) in the 1980s. I don't know if Dragon are re-releasing this kit like they did the UH-1D. We'll see.

I saw this beast at Bandiana museum and when Round 2 Models re-released the AMT Fruehauf trailer, I just had to build one!
