The Mile of Machinery is just what it sounds like. Along the side of the road at Ilfracombe in outback Queensland is a whole heap of agricultural machines that have been given a clean up and a coat of paint and put on display. I think it's a great idea. There is stuff that is almost ancient, right up to relatively new bulldozers. This is a great source of reference for modellers or artists wanting to depict rusty equipment. I have taken a few walkarounds of the pieces that most interest me and they are available elsewhere on the website.
