The National Motor Museum, also known as The Birdwood Museum, is located in (surprise, surprise) Birdwood, South Australia. I remember when I was working at Shannons Classic Insurance, we were heavily involved in The Birdwood Run where all manner of classic, vintage and veteran cars would drive from around the country and turn up at the museum. The museum itself is housed in a purpose-designed building and the collection covers pretty much all aspects of motoring in Australia, from record breaking to old mail trucks. A must-see if you are in the area.
