The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre is located on the perimitter of Darwin Airport in Winellie. It boasts having one of only two B-52s on display outside the USA. This certainly makes a dramatic centrepiece! I have been to this museum and the B-52 is certainly impressive.

There are numerous othe aircraft on display including:
Mirage IIIO
DH Dove
Rockwell Shrike Commander
Westland Wessex
CAC Avon Sabre
Mitsubishi Zero
Tiger Moth
B-25 Mitchell
AH-1G Cobra
Auster Autocar.

There are many other displays tracing the history of aviation in the Northern Territory, Darwin as the Gateway to the North, the bombing of Darwin in WWII and the strategic value of the Northern Territory in the defence of Australia.
