Airframes on display at SAAM include: Avro Anson, Douglas C-47 Dakota, EE Canberra, DH Moth, DH Vampire, DH Sea Venom, Westland Wessex, and Supermarine Spitfire MC (Milne Bay veteran). These are all under cover in a large hangar structure. They also have a Fairey Battle and an Aero Commander under restoration.

There are a number of famous engine types on display as well as a collection surrounding the Woomera rocket range, including rockets!
The museum is located just north west of Adelaide city in Port Adelaide. There are numerous museums in the vicinity, including a maritime museum, railway museum and a military vehicle museum. Might make a good day-trip!
