BAC Strikemaster Walkaround Gallery
Here is a Strikemaster walkaround from Avalon in 2007. This pretty little bird was in the static park. It is available for joyflights with Australian Jet Adventures of Ballarat. That would be quite a ride!
It appears that she is an ex RNZAF machine and may well be painted to match it’s service career. Actually, looking at the pics again, it may even be the service paint. It’s showing some nice wear and tear. (After talking with a contact in NZ, this does appear to be the paint it wore in RNZAF service.)
Coincidentally, the markings it is painted in are the same as the old 1:72 Matchbox kit. So you could build this warbird straight out of the box, presuming you could still find the kit!
